- 24 hour Emergency Services
The emergency ward has a complete vital monitoring and is available 24 hours in order to effectively treat any situation that may arise. Pediatrician and pediatric surgeons are available 24 hours a day in an emergency situation.
- 24 hour Ambulance
The ambulance is available all hours of the day. It is equipped with oxygen and our mobile doctor kit allows us to address a number of situations en route to the hospital.
- 24 hour Pathology and Diagnostics
The pathology department is equipped with a complete analysis system to test blood, urine, stool and other mediums. Results will be ready as quickly as possible, in some cases minutes. This allows doctors to quickly assess the patient, and this means less waiting time for the patient. IFCH has a fully computerized system to maintain patient records and ease communication between pathologists and doctors or nurses.
- 24 hour Pharmacy
The On-site 24 hour pharmacy is available for all the patient needs. Staff will assist parents in getting the proper medicine before they leave the hospital. All in-patient prescription and supplies are delivered to the patients and wards from the pharmacist. This ensures the proper prescriptions are delivered in a timely manner. It also ensures that quality medicine is getting to the patients
- 24 hour X-Ray
The x-ray department at IFCH is available 24 hours a day to assess and diagnose patients. Portable X-ray is available even in the emergency, ward, ICU and OT.
OTHER FACILITIES
- Visitors Rooms for Males and Females
Visitor rooms allow family to stay near their children during distressing times. There is 24 hour communication between nursing stations and visitor rooms via telephone. This allows nurses to contact families should an emergency arise any time of day or night.
- Play Room
Clean and sunny playroom for children to maintain motor learning, explore creativity and use their imagination. We have coloring books, puzzles and toys to stimulate children and relieve some of the stress of a long stay in a hospital ward.
- TV Access
TV access for children and parents.
- Canteen
The canteen serves both patients and families. Nutritious meal options are available for children and families. The canteen is available by telephone to all wards and cabins to ease access for patients. Delivery service is available to all rooms.
